Sometimes, even though I know better, I am having so much fun it doesn’t occur to me there might be consequences later. Such was the case yesterday, when friends came over with their dogs to play with our dog and the kids in the afternoon. Of course we had to sample all the available flavours of the home-brewed beer. Then my friend and I left the kids with a sitter and went out for fabulous seafood at a restaurant in one of the marinas. Two bottles of excellent sauvignon blanc later, we taxied home and eventually fell into bed. This morning was a trifle rocky. But…in a couple of hours I get to go have a massage, a facial, and what they call a “hand and foot pamper”. I suspect nothing more will be accomplished today.
