MEGATech Reviews The Balanzza Mini Digital Luggage Scale (Video) balanzza mini 3 500x281

To kick off the launch of our YouTube Channel, we’ve decided to start small and work our way up. This time we’re reviewing the Balanzza Mini Digital Luggage Scale. It’s a product who’s sole purpose is to weight your luggage and that’s pretty much about it. It might not seem like an awesome gadget, but it’s usefulness cannot be denied. With airlines charging through the nose for overweight baggage, this $24.99 US device can easily save you money in just one trip.

MEGATechie Useful or MEGATechie Useless?

Overall, the Balanzza Mini Digital Luggage scale is definitely a useful little gizmo that is now finally small and light enough to pack with you on every trip. While there were two nit picks (the grip area and use of CR2032 batteries) it’s definitely a gizmo that’ll give you a chance to rethink your weight distribution before heading to the scales. And that could be the difference between a free ride for your luggage or charges of $50 and up on most airlines these days. Definitely recommended!

It’s also really good for shipping packages through couriers and such. Not everyone has a postal scale in their home and the bathroom scale just won’t do. I use my (older gen) Balanzza for our courier shipments all the time.

You mean like the ones with a “handle” right? That strap isn’t big enough to go around an entire box. I guess you can do a fake handle with tape though.

Oh right. I have the “optional” strap and “hammock” accessories, so those can be used to wrap around a reasonable sized box. You can always fashion something with some rope or a belt or something.
