BlackBerry Q5 Coming to Canada on August 13   bbQ5

While Verizon may be facing opposition going into Canada, the same can’t be said for BlackBerry, whose BlackBerry Q5 smartphone will be arriving in store mid-August.

The BlackBerry Q5 features a re-engineered QWERTY keyboard to enable “power users” to type faster and more accurately. There’s less space between the keys, allowing for easier one-handed typing.

The phone’s hardware includes a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 5MP AF primary rear camera, 2MP seconday front camera, 3.1-inch LCD vibrant touch-screen, 8GB of storage, 2GB RAM, and a MicroSD port that can hold up to 64GB. The phone also offers 4G/LTE support.

The phone is powered by the BlackBerry 10 OS which includes features like BlackBerry Hub, Time Shift, Story Maker, and Blackberry World.

The phone will arrive at authorized retailers in Canada on August 13th.
