I’d like to wish a Happy Easter to all of you who celebrate. We don’t do much around here, although I do use it as a lovely excuse to spend the day in my kitchen making fabulous foods. Today’s menu consists of leg of lamb, steamed asparagus with herb butter, a roasted potato salad, sweet and sour red cabbage, and cheddar-herb biscuits. And we’re having mixed berry tarts for dessert. I think that’s what most holidays are for me any more; excuses to make decadent foods.
