As if technology isnt already smart enough, Samsung has unveiled their new Smart Home platform at CES 2014. Smart Home allows Smart TVs, home appliances, and smartphones to be connected and managed through a single system.
Smart Home will also allow you to connect to your devices from anywhere at any time, presumably through your smartphone (give that thats the device youll be carrying around).
Integrating electronics has been on the agenda for years now, so it was really only a matter of time before you could start a load of laundry from your smartphone while waiting for a movie to start; especially with Samsung announcing a new line of digital appliances. Most movie theaters have banned phone calls and texting; now theyll have to ban people from remotely doing their chores, too.
