Remember when I reviewed the LG V20 last January, noting how I wasn’t completely convinced about that second screen? As you might already know, I wasn’t alone and LG returned back to the standard single screen for the V series. And now practically the full spec sheet for the upcoming LG V35 ThinQ has been leaked online.
Coming by way of Android Headlines, the LG V35 ThinQ spec sheet reads like what a typical 2018 Android flagship is expected to read like. You’ll notice that they’ve also tacked the “ThinQ” moniker to the end of the name, just as they’re anticipated to do with the LG G7 ThinQ to be announced early next month.
The “ThinQ” part represents LG’s smart technology, which includes not only smartphones but also a variety of other smart devices. That’s the branding exercise they’re expected to utilize at least for the next little while.
So, what can we expect from the LG V35 ThinQ?
- 6-inch QHD+ OLED display
- 18:9 aspect ratio, no notch, 80% screen-to-body
- Snapdragon 845
- At least 4GB of RAM
- “Light and slim” form factor
- Black or grey in a “premium glossy finish”
- Dual 16MP rear cameras: standard f/1.6 and wide-angle with 107-degree field of view
- AI Cam and Google Lens support
- Super Bright Mode with “superpixels”
- 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC with ESS Sabre 9228
- Far-field voice recognition (up to 17 feet)
You’ll have to wait a while to get your hands on the LG V35 ThinQ, however, and this also means that features and specs are always subject to change. The flagship smartphone is expected to launch in the fourth quarter, even though it was shown to a select group of MWC attendees back in February.
