Xbox 720 Document Leaks, Microsoft Pounces Dylan Duarte June 18, 2012 Extras Gamers got a nice surprise Saturday in the form of a supposedly leaked document that outlined some features of the forthcoming Xbox 720 console from Microsoft. The document claimed that Microsoft’s next console would boast four to six times the power of the Xbox 360, an integrated Blu-ray player, Kinect version 2, SmartGlass, and augmented reality glasses. It also claimed a price point of $299, which is pretty hard to believe given standard console prices. Whether or not the document is real or the information is current (it’s dated two years ago), Microsoft was none too pleased about its appearance and quickly dispatched legal firm Covington & Burling LLP, who promptly sent website Scribd (where the document showed up) a removal request. The document listed a holiday 2013 release date, so hopefully we won’t have to wait too long to find out just what the Xbox 720 is going to bring to the table. via Slashgear Share This With The World!
