I grew up playing console games, so whatever platform I’m gaming on, I like to use a controller if I can. There are plenty of controllers made specifically for non-console gaming, but if you already own a console, there’s always a way to use what you already have.

A new jailbreak app for the iPhone and iPad, Controllers for All, is only $1.99 and allows you to pair a PlayStation 3 DualShock with an iOS 7 device. Even better, the creator of the app is currently working on support for additional controllers and the DualShock 4 is on his list.

Furthermore, Sony’s recently-announced PlayStation Now streaming service will be coming to iOS products, so it stands to reason that the mobile platform will support PlayStation controllers some time in the future. If you can’t wait, there are other Made for iPhone controllers too.

Check out the two videos below to see it in action. Keep in mind that jailbreaking will void your warranty.
