Unfortunately, vacation brain has made me unobservant and also rude. So…a happy late Canada Day to those of you who participate, and a happy early Independence Day for those of you who participate in that. One of the things I’m most enjoying is the fact that I have zero responsibilities and no schedule whatsoever, which is exactly how vacation really should go. But it also means I miss out on stuff I would otherwise have paid attention to. When I get home next week I’ll be more on the ball…or at least I will be after I settle back into my regular life. For now, though, I’m just gonna continue to be selfish and only pay attention to what I want to. Which mostly has been enjoying the incredibly low humidity, clear blue skies, and wind in the pines.
