The running entertainment industry joke for today is that it is Sound Check Day: 12.12.12. Yeah, it’s stupid humour, but it’s all I’ve got. Winter is settling in with something of a vengeance, so today I’m burrowing. I’ve got a beef roast in the oven, complete with potatoes, turnips, carrots, onions and mushrooms, and I’m trying to decide between Southern-style buttermilk biscuits and corn muffins to go with it.
