Last night was one of those shows that reminds me why I do what I do for a living. Because no matter how jaded you are, no matter how commonplace seeing celebrities and musicians is, when one of the greats whose music you’ve loved your entire life stops to chat, it’s all you can do to at least pretend to remain professional. Those are the days that make up for all the nonsense that goes on sometimes, because they’re the times you’ll go back to often in your memory. Periodically I need the reminder that my job is really pretty darn fabulous.
