The News: Tuesday, April 2 Edition

You know what’s a whole lot of fun, that I had completely forgotten about? The very beginning of a new relationship, when you aren’t sure if it’s going to work out, when you spend inordinate amounts of time thinking about each other, when your friends give you endless grief about it, when you (or me, really) find yourself blushing furiously on a regular basis…yeah, that. I can’t honestly say I missed it, but now that I have it again I swear it’s like ten years have been taken off my life. And I have a date for my birthday for the first time in ages, which will be weird. So who knows if this is going to end up being a thing or not, but I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts…complete with three-hour phone conversations. Apparently I’m not too old for this after all.
