This is the anniversary of my best friend’s mother’s death, a woman who took me in as her own and was in many ways even better than my own mother. The day we lost her will never be forgotten, nor will anyone who knew her ever forget her. I don’t know, or claim to even guess, what comes after our time on this planet, but according to her beliefs she should currently be hanging out on a cloud with angels playing a harp.
