This has been the best day at work I’ve had in a very long time. We were supposed to be there until 1pm, but by 11:15am we had done everything there was to do, so they let us go early. So I find myself for the first time in what feels like a hundred years sitting in a coffee shop downtown with nothing to do and nowhere to be for almost five hours. Figured I’d get a little work done, and then I’m going to settle in with a book until the sushi place opens for lunch. Then it’s off to work the hockey game. Not a bad day at all!
