And so begins a whopping four days off in a row. Not that there isn’t work, but I have 847 things I need to get done around the house that pretty much require daylight (primarily taking down screens and putting up storm windows, as well as other things around the yard to prep for my least favourite season), so I took some time off. Today, however, we all head to my oldest sister’s house to go through the boxes and boxes of knick-knacks she salvaged from our grandmother’s house when she passed away. Probably none of us want any of it, but she was a great collector of things, and it seems a shame to just toss them or give them away. Some of that stuff is wrapped in newspaper dated prior to 1950, so it should be an adventure!
