I may need to take a vacation after I get home from my vacation. But…totally worth it! I’m getting to see “my” kids, and spend an amazing amount of time talking with my best friend about everything under the sun, and waking up every day to clear blue skies that don’t even look real, and listening to the wind through 200-foot-tall pine trees, and of course there was the drive to Santa Cruz last night to see the show. I suspect today is going to involve naps, since we had to get up painfully early in order to get back home to relieve the babysitter.
