The News: Sunday, June 16 Edition

Happy Father’s Day! Hopefully all you dads get to either spend time with your family or away from them, depending on which you’d prefer. Me, I’ll be missing the family party this year since the show doesn’t close until tomorrow night. Luckily, my family understands even while they’re disappointed when I can’t attend family events. I’ve really been trying to make it to more of them, especially the ones my dad will be attending, but this time, duty once again calls. My AHL team choked, by the way, and lost both home games this week, turning a 3-0 series lead into a 3-2 lead. Which means next week they head back out of town for game 6 and possibly 7, to determine this year’s winner of the Calder Cup.
