Well, it’s official. My Crimson Tide will be facing Notre Dame for the BCS title on January 7. Which leaves me in a bit of a dilemma…I’ve only become an Alabama fan in the last ten years, but I was born Irish. Still, I have to stick with the Tide. Add to that the thing where my hometown AHL boys are at the top of their division, and it’s been a pretty darn fine sports weekend for me. Now if only the Lions actually show up with the intention of playing NFL football this afternoon, all manner of things will be well!
