There were exactly seven hours between when I clocked out of work and when I clocked back in. The adventure last night was when, approximately 20 minutes after I got to sleep (2:50am for those of you playing along at home) our power went out with the accompanying screech of the carbon monoxide detector. My alarm is on my phone, which was almost fully charged, so I didn’t consider the morning part. Luckily, it came back on apparently around 4:30, so when I got up a few minutes later I could see to get ready. I do hope your weekend started and continues on a much more pleasant note!
