Today at least something is different! My mother is gone for the day, which makes me much less tense. And my niece is coming over twice! Once in the middle of the day without her kids to hang out with me and get some stuff in order for me that I neglected to do before I couldn’t walk, and then once after mom gets home with her kids so we can see them in their costumes. I’m really quite excited, although everyone is worried about them behaving around my size-of-Nebraska splint. I think it’ll be fine.
