At this point, I’m honestly not sure if taking a couple of days off was a good idea or not. I mean, sure, I’m getting things done around the house that need to be done, and we do have only a few days until the family Christmas party at my house, but it’s just a little bit nuts around here. On a good year, my mother is one of those people who freak out over holidays, and this year it’s even worse with the death of her friend. Which I get. But it certainly doesn’t make it any easier to deal with her. Viva la holidays!
