The News: Friday, October 12 Edition Beth Snyder October 12, 2012 So far, I have not mentioned the NHL lockout, because it would totally be whining, and who needs that. But, tonight is the season opener, and the home opener, of my AHL team. The AHL is not affected by the lockout, so it’s game on here in our arena. Which means I’ll be one happy girl for a couple of nights. I may not get to see the big boys, but I have always thoroughly enjoyed my kids here. We have a new coach this year as well as more than half a team’s worth of new players, so it should be interesting. Now, let’s drop that puck!
