The News: Friday, June 7 Edition Beth Snyder June 7, 2013 After what was a pretty craptastic day all the way around yesterday, I ran away to hang out with my sister in her outdoor living room in front of the fireplace with some adult beverages. It seemed like the thing to do, and it definitely adjusted my attitude toward all other living beings on earth. Then I came home to put together a strata for dinner tomorrow…the recipe is one I’ve made before, but it definitely needed a bunch of tweaking to make it better. I won’t know until we eat tonight, of course, but based on how amazing everything was going in, I’m thinking I nailed it this time. And I made plenty enough changes that I’m going to claim it as my own, inspired by the original recipe. I can’t tell you how impatient I am for it to finally be 6pm so I can dig into the cheesy, garlicky, asparagus, bacon deliciousness.
