Yup, that’s me. I was informed first thing this morning that I was expected to go on the family gravesite tour with my cousins from out of town. While I adore my cousins (and hardly ever get to see them), I declined in favour of doing laundry. Apparently, that was inappropriate (according to my mother…my cousins TOTALLY got it). So be it, I guess. We were supposed to go out for drinks last night, but it didn’t work out. Which means we’ll be going tonight, since they’re leaving early Friday morning for the 14-hour drive back home. I look at it as winning: we get to hang out and enjoy ourselves, but it doesn’t have to be over family graves.
