The News: Appreciate a Dragon Edition Beth Snyder January 16, 2012 At first, I thought…wait, dragons aren’t usually to be appreciated. Then I started thinking about it. All dragons are not Smaug. There’s Puff, there’s Elliot (Pete’s Dragon, for those who don’t remember), Falkor (Neverending Story), Stanley (from Piers Anthony’s Xanth series) and of course the crew from Dragon Tales. So even though the first thing that usually leaps to mind when you think of dragons is the fire-breathing, destructive, hoarder type, there are nicer ones around.
