Telling Time Is Easy with the Googly Eyes Clock Beth Snyder April 22, 2011 Every once in a while, you just have to have something fun on your desk. Well, maybe you don’t, but I do. This falls under the “made me laugh out loud and is affordable” category, as well as being from a catalog where I buy a number of things anyway. I don’t know what it is about googly eyes, but they just make me giggle. I’ve been known to put them on random things just because I can. The best part about this clock is that the eyes move like regular googly eyes, but the pupils point toward the numbers so you know what time it is! The eyeball on the left shows the hour, and the one on the right shows the minutes. Of course, this requires that you be able to tell time when it’s not digital, but you can handle that, right? The only drawback is that precision timing is not really possible here, so I wouldn’t use it for something truly important. But for fun and a rough estimate of where you are in the day, it’s perfect.
