Surface Pro Release Window, Pricing, and Battery Life Confirmed Dylan Duarte November 30, 2012 Those itching to get their hands on a Microsoft Surface Pro won’t have to wait long as the company has announced that the tablet will be arriving in January 2013, a mere month away and just a few months after the Surface RT. With that announcement came pricing, which is a bit less exciting. The 64GB model of the Surface Pro will run consumers $899 while the 128GB model will retail for $999. Both come with the full version of Windows 8, a USB 3.0 port, a Mini DisplayPort, and will be equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor and 1080p HD display. Where things go downhill a bit is the battery life, which is supposedly half of what the Surface RT offers. While unfortunate, it’s not surprising considering the Surface Pro is more powerful and offers a higher resolution display than its little brother. Still, this puts the Surface Pro at around 4 hours of battery life, which may understandably be a deal breaker for some. via The Verge Share This With The World!
