Staples USA Takes Responsibility for Planet Earth Stephen Fung May 22, 2007 Staples, one of the US’s most prominent office supply and business hardware stores is making a bold statement about their commitment to the environment. Customers can now drop off their computers and monitors (for a $10 fee) at any one of their 1,400 US stores during normal business hours to be recycled. The retailer is also taking in smaller electronics like cell phones and digital cameras for free.
