It’s not your smartphone, notebook or your TV; it’s your car. There is so much engineering that goes into today’s vehicle and few cars pack as much of an impressive wallop as the 2015 Hyundai Genesis. The luxury sedan boasts all sorts of advanced safety features, which along with a rigid new chassis, have helped the new Genesis win the IIHS Top Safety Pick+ for 2014. In fact, it is the first ever rear-wheel drive luxury sedan to earn the highest safety rating of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. To demonstrate the level of confidence in its technologies, Hyundai put together quite a video stunt with a convoy of Genesis sedans, effectively driving themselves. There’s a blindfolded stunt driver in the front of the pack and the rest of the vehicles are driverless. The video below demos how the car can stay in its own lane, utilize adapative speed control and the Hyundai-first Autonomous Emergency Braking system. You don’t even need to control it with Google Glass to appreciate the crazy tech involved. The 2015 Hyundai Genesis is available now. Share This With The World!
