Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t the purpose of a tablet to provide something more capable than a smartphone while being more portable than a laptop? Apparently Samsung didn’t get the memo about the latter and they’re not going to be happy until consumers are carrying small televisions wherever they go. I’m not referring to the 12.2-inch models that were unveiled back at CES 2014, I’m talking about what’s coming next.

Samsung isn’t even waiting to find out what people think of the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 and Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 models. They’re already hard at work developing a 13.3-inch Android tablet, the T910/T911, that offers a 2560 x 1600 LCD display with 227 PPI pixel density. Further details are still under wraps, but word on the street is that the tablet is being referring to internally as “Warhol,” presumably after that weird dude Bill Hader played in Men in Black 3. The pair of serial numbers for Warhol suggests the existence of both a WiFi-only version and 3G/4G version.

While a 13.3-inch tablet won’t be as portable as some might like, the tablet market is easily varied enough at this point that consumers can buy different tablets for different reasons, and if you’re someone who likes to use a tablet to watch movies and television, I imagine that’s where the Warhol will really shine.

If you ever take a photo with it, however, you’re going to look super goofy.
