I mean, who wouldn’t want the mother of all earbuds sitting on their desk? They’re called the 500XL Earbud speakers because they really are 500 times the size of the pair that comes with an iPod. Neat, huh? Much like regular earbuds, they are compatible with iDevices as well as pretty much anything else that has a 3.5mm connector. They can be powered either with actual electricity (generic power supply not included), USB (cord included), or batteries (three AAA, not included). There’s even a built-in amp, so no worries about poor quality sound. Together, they weigh just 1.5 pounds. The only drawback is because they are shaped like regular earbuds you can’t prop them up unless you make it a DIY project, but that’s something you can probably cope with unless you’re an audiophile. Of course, if that’s the case, you’re probably not going to want these anyway.
