Rejoining the Human Race Beth Snyder January 26, 2011 OK, so I now have four whole days of work under my belt since I’ve been out of the hospital, so I think I’m going to try going out tonight. Not that I’ll be indulging in any adult beverages (the codeine pretty much dictates I can’t), but I haven’t been to my home away from home for over three weeks and I miss everyone. Besides, it’s time to rejoin the land of the living and stop sitting around on the couch. I think the fact that I read nine complete novels as well as four magazines in addition to finishing a crossword puzzle book in the last nine days speaks volumes, and I don’t much like it.
