The Nintendo Switch is the fastest-selling console in Nintendo’s history, but no launch is perfect. There are the issues with the Joy-Con controller’s Bluetooth connection, which Nintendo released a not-so-helpful comment on. Now there’s another, potentially more serious issue: warping.

Multiple Reddit users claimed that their consoles are bowing after being used in docked mode. Speculation suggests that, because the console works harder while outputting video, internal components could be expanding and warping the case. Luckily, this doesn’t seem to affect performance.

Nintendo has yet to comment on the issue, but apparently they’ve had no problem repairing the bent consoles. Hopefully this is a case of just a few defective consoles, because this could expand into a pretty big problem for Nintendo, just like the internal components of the Switch are expanding due to heat. I’ll be here all week.

Do you have a Switch? Are you experiencing warping issues or any issues at all? Let us know!
