PowerSkin Comes to Samsung Nexus S 4G Beth Snyder August 8, 2011 Obviously, I am not the only one who thinks PowerSkin is onto something really pretty cool here. It seems they’re adding cases for more and more phones on a weekly basis, and more power to them! Pun definitely intended. Granted, they aren’t perfect, but the list of pros far outweighs the list of cons with these cases. I can’t imagine living without mine now that I’m used to it. This particular incarnation is compatible with all three forms of Nexus S 4G: AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. It gives you 340 minutes of extra talk time (which obviously shortens dramatically if you’re using 4G internet, but that’s nothing unfamiliar) with its 1500 mAh battery. As with all their cases, this one is powered with the XPal system. The case is made from 100% recycled materials, and its soft silicone rubber provides a cushy landing for your phone when it inevitably hits the ground. You can use the charging cord that came with your phone to charge the case as well, and when you plug it in it automatically charges your phone battery first and itself second. When in use, it will drain itself first and your phone’s battery second, so you should pretty much always have enough power to make a call. The case features an on/off button and an LED display that lets you know how much life is left in its battery. If you have a Samsung Nexus S 4G, I honestly can’t recommend strongly enough that you consider getting one of these. As I said, the positives far outweigh the negatives, and at just $59.99 US it’s really not a bad price to pay. Especially for double the battery life. Source: YourTechReport Share This With The World!
