Think of it like Chinese chess. You build your team of six Pokemon and goal is to get one of them over to your opponent’s goal. In the interim, you block your rivals, battle their figures, and get all tactical. Part of it is like a collectible trading card game too, because the point is that you can build up your deck with different Pokemon, each of which have different moves and abilities.
