PAX 2011 – GAEMS Portable Xbox 360 and PS3 Gaming Case (Video) Michael Kwan August 31, 2011 MEGATech Videos The Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 are largely viewed as home video game consoles, relegating the portable side of the equation to other devices. That doesn’t have to be the case. If you’ve ever wanted to take that Jurassic Park or Street Fighter with you on the road, you can with the GAEMS G155 mobile gaming environment. While over at PAX Prime 2011, I caught up with the guys at GAEMS to talk about this particular product and it looks pretty damn awesome. You get a 15.5-inch integrated LED HD display, complete with a place to stow your gaming machine, accessories, power brick and more. There are built-in audio-out jacks for speakers or headphones and the whole thing is wrapped up in a lightweight yet robust case. And yes, it’s TSA-friendly too. It won’t fit the phat PS3, but it’ll take the slim one. They’re also bundling in a short HDMI cable, making it even easier and less cumbersome for you to connect your gaming machine to the monitor. The regular version is $299 through a number of online and offline retailers, but you might be interested in the Gears of War 3 Limited Edition version too. Pretty sweet.
