I know that’s usually a fancy way of saying nothing, but in this instance I simply mean that while most of us think it’s crazy that it even exists, it does indeed exist and we just need to accept that we live in a world where someone can now pay $10,000 to $17,000 for an Apple product. Asus has used these absurd price points in a brand new advertisement for their own ZenWatch. You can argue until you’re blue in the face that it’s petty or a low blow, but the fact is that it’s funny and, in my mind, a surprisingly effective advertisement. Does buying a $17,000 Apple Watch mean that you’re out of your mind? Of course not.
