Finally, an alarm clock for those of us who are incapable of getting up in the morning without hiring a brass band to march down the hall, or who don’t have a parent or spouse willing to rip the blankets from our slumbering selves to freeze us out of bed in the morning! I am awful, I admit it. I’m one of those people who hits the snooze button a minimum of six times. I also set a second alarm to warn myself I really have to get up this time. Sometimes, it all fails.

Enter Clocky, the alarm clock that runs away from you, forcing you to get out of bed to make it stop. The alarm features a random noise pattern as well as flashing lights to wake you up. Hitting snooze makes the clock roll away from you the next time it goes off, forcing you out of bed to chase it around the room to make the noise stop before your ears start bleeding. Sure, you can only hit snooze once, but by the time you catch the darn thing what will it matter? It’s not like you won’t be awake.

Clocky is a small digital alarm clock set on wheels. It has only two buttons (used to set the time and the alarm). It comes in aqua, almond, coco, and chrome, and runs on four AAA batteries (not included). You can set the snooze length for between zero and nine minutes. It can survive a drop of up to three feet, and travels on low carpet or hard flooring with ease.

You can end your oversleeping issues forever for just $39.99 US. What it doesn’t include are suggestions on how to apologize to your spouse or partner if they aren’t the non-morning person you are, but you’ll think of something.
