Mujjo Offers Up Some Leather Gloves For Your Winter Texting Pleasure Beth Snyder December 17, 2012 Last year, Mujjo offered some touchscreen gloves that I really, really wanted. This year, they’ve come up with a new style that makes me want them even more. I’ve always been a fan of leather gloves, ever since I was a kid, and my mom would sometimes let me wear hers, which were lined with rabbit fur. These are not just leather gloves, though…they’re also touchscreen gloves! What more could I ask for? As I’ve said many times before, and as I am sure you already know, winter is not a good time for owning a smartphone. In addition to the possibility of ruining your phone with snow or sleet, you can’t answer it if you also want to keep your hands warm. One of the things Mujjo does differently from all other companies I’ve seen is the entire glove is touchscreen compatible rather than just a couple of fingers and the thumb. This means you can use any part of your hand to answer your phone. If you’ve just been doing something that makes your fingers wet, being able to answer the phone by swiping across the screen with your knuckle is invaluable. These gloves integrate nanotechnology right into the leather, giving it what is supposed to be the same conductive qualities as human skin. What makes that so special is that means there are no patches anywhere that stand out or take away from the aesthetic value of the gloves, but also the leather (which is Ethiopian lamb) stays supple and retains its original texture. It also makes them water- and wind-proof, and gives them antimicrobial properties. They are available in sizes 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9 (unisex), but there’s a catch. You knew there was one coming, didn’t you? These cost 129.95 ($169.74 US) a pair. Source: Gizmag Share This With The World!
