Motorola DROID TURBO Rocks Massive 3900mAh Battery Michael Kwan October 10, 2014 News When AT&T and Apple got into bed with one another over the exclusive iPhone deal several years ago, Verizon decided to fight back with exclusive Motorola phones under the heavy DROID branding. That brand has fallen a little by the wayside, but it could be making a particularly powerful comeback with the rumored DROID TURBO. And I say powerful, because this phone’s got one gigantic battery. You might remember the DROID MAXX and its 3500mAh battery. The Motorola DROID TURBO is going even bigger with a 3900mAh battery, which along with a more efficient processor, should provide for some incredible battery life. You should get a solid two days of real world use out of this. From what we can gather, the DROID TURBO may derive some DNA from the 2014 Moto X, but with the more aggressive DROID styling. The carbon fiber look is back with a vengeance? The rest of the rumored specs on the DROID TURBO (EQ40) are no laughing matter either. We’re hearing it’ll get a 5.2-inch QHD display, 21MP rear camera, 3GB of RAM, and a healthy smattering of Motorola enhancements of services on top of a mostly stock Android experience. An announcement is being rumored for October 28 or 29 with a launch to follow on October 30. Understandably, the DROID TURBO will be a Verizon exclusive. Via Droid Life Share This With The World!
