It goes without saying that most of us could probably lead a healthier lifestyle. We should be more active. We should be sleeping better. And perhaps that is why fitness trackers like the ones from Jawbone, Fitbit and Nike have skyrocketed in popularity in recent years… but they typically cost about $100. The Xiaomi Mi Band seems to offer all of the same tracking benefits as its better-known counterparts, but at a fraction of the price.

It’s only about $20, even though Xiaomi products are not yet officially available here in North America. You can still find the Xiaomi Mi Band for sale through third-party resellers on places like eBay and Amazon. Or, if you happen to find yourself out in Hong Kong or other parts of Asia, you can pick one up for about the equivalent of $15. It’s a lightweight fitness and sleep tracker, complete with a slick mobile app, interchangeable wrist bands, and a 30-day battery life.
