Lenovo Developing First Project Tango Phone Dylan Duarte January 8, 2016 News Remember Project Tango? We wrote about it way back in February of 2014, back before we redesigned the site. Project Tango is a smartphone that’s outfitted with multiple cameras and sensors, and it’s been compared to the technology used in the Mars Exploration Rover. We already know that Lenovo is killing Motorola, and now we know that they’re also developing the first Project Tango phone. We don’t know a whole lot, but here’s what we do know: the phone is coming in Summer 2016, they haven’t nailed down the final design, and it’s going to cost less than $500. That could be an amazing deal if the project lives up to its hype and potential. We also don’t know if other developers are going to take a stab at Project Tango or if Lenovo has struck an exclusive deal with Google. With the phone already less than a year away, hopefully it won’t be too long before we hear more. Share This With The World!
