LEGO: It’s a Toy. It’s a Movie. It’s a Video Game! Beth Snyder February 13, 2014 By now, probably everyone is sick of hearing about the LEGO Movie. I don’t care. I love it, I’ve seen it twice, and if I had more time I would be seeing it again. I will also own it as soon as it’s available on DVD. And now this…the video game is here! We knew it was coming, and much like with the movie release, it felt like it took forever and a day, but it’s on shelves now! You know the best part? It’s available for almost every possible way you could play it. PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS Vita, Wii U, 3DS, and PC systems…all of them get a version. Which means even someone like me, who thinks Farmville is gaming, will probably buy a copy. I may even get good at it. It might even be a gateway game, leading me down a wayward path to other, more involved games. Someday I may end up sitting in this recliner for weeks on end not because of an injury, but because I need to play just one more hour. But I digress. The LEGO Movie Game offers 15 levels of play on all consoles and PCs, while the portable version will offer 45 missions. The game characters are the same as the movie characters, and even have the same actors’ voices. You aren’t limited to just one character, though…you can choose multiple characters to play depending on your mood. Characters include (but I don’t believe are limited to) Emmet, Vitruvius, Wyldstyle, Batman, and Lord Business. It’s rated E10+, so it’ll be fun for the whole family. Who am I kidding…your kids are never gonna get a chance to play, as it should be. Pricing varies depending on platform, but ranges from $29.99 to $59.99 US. As soon as my next check comes, I’m hitting the store. Source: Geeky Gadgets Share This With The World!
