Launch Titles Announced for Nintendo 3DS Michael Kwan February 22, 2011 One of the biggest highlights from last year’s E3 was the revealing of the Nintendo 3DS. It might look a lot like its regular Nintendo DS Lite and DSi counterparts, but it’s pretty different. The whole glasses-free 3D thing is supposed to be its biggest gimmick, just like how waggle controls are the selling point for the Wii. But what games are we going to get on launch day? The good news is that Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition from Capcom will be on store shelves the same day that the Nintendo 3DS arrives on our shores: March 27. The bad news is that Mario Kart, Zelda, Star Fox, and Kid Icarus are not. Dammit. I wanted some 3D Star Fox action on the go. Anyhow, here’s the complete list of games that’ll be available on March 27. What titles stick out for you? Ridge Racer 3D could be fun, but I’m not at all interested in Pilotwings Resort, N64 nostalgia be damned. Nintendo games: Pilotwings Resort Steel Diver Nintendogs + Cats Third-Party Games: Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition The Sims 3 Madden NFL Football Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 3D Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Ridge Racer 3D Super Monkey Ball 3D Bust-A-Move Universe Samurai Warriors: Chronicles Asphalt 3D Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D Rayman 3D Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Shadow Wars [Source: Crunchgear] Share This With The World!
