International Tongue Twister Day Beth Snyder November 13, 2011 Tongue twisters will always have a special place in my heart, since they were how I used to limber up my tongue and mouth before going on stage or competing in school forensics meets. Of course, later on as an adult they helped me win more than one game of Pass Out, but we probably should leave that alone. I’m not sure how I feel about the coincidence of this being the day to celebrate them, however, since I’m truly hoping my tongue does not get twisted this afternoon. My other half is bringing his daughters to the show, which means I’m going to meet them for the first time. Maybe I should start practicing now.
