InterContinental Hotels to Outfit Rooms with Kindles Dylan Duarte July 5, 2012 Anybody who’s ever stayed in a hotel knows that it’s fairly common to see a copy of the Bible tucked away in one of the drawers. InterContinental Hotels Group is taking that hotel staple to the logical next level by replacing all of the traditional paper Bibles with Kindle Touch Wi-Fi e-readers. Guests won’t be limited to reading scripture – they can purchase any books in the Amazon Kindle store. Any books that are purchased will go on the hotel bill and if you’re dense enough to swipe one of the Kindles, you’ll find that charged to your bill as well. One thing to keep in mind is that once your stay is over, you don’t get to the bring any digital titles with you, so you better finish them while you can. The Kindles are then wiped after each guest, so don’t get your hopes up that the guest before you was a major bookworm. via CNN Share This With The World!
