When my ISP told me I could pay them 10x as much to have a tech install the router rather than me doing it, I jokingly said if I couldn’t figure it out I didn’t deserve to have a computer. Well…shoot. Maybe I don’t. However, I am blaming mom’s “new” computer, which is my sister’s old one, rather than myself. MY machine got online with no problems at all. Hers, however…gah. I haven’t even attempted to venture into setting up the wireless, as my laptop is still sitting on the bench in my basement bathroom from the other night. Which is where it will stay, as we are supposed to get hit again tonight with another round of hellacious thunderstorms. Maybe tomorrow, since my regularly scheduled meeting got cancelled.
