While this sounds like a fabulous idea, if you live with cats you know that it may or may not work out. If your cat wants to be hugged, you’ll be fine. But basing my opinion on having shared my home with cats for the better part of two decades, if he is not interested you should just accept that and go on with your life. I don’t think it’s really a celebration of the holiday to end up with gouges across your face.
