Late last year, HTC released the very iPhone-inspired One A9 to mixed reviews but decent sales, sales that the company desperately needed after a very lackluster year. Following that success, the company is supposedly working on a follow-up device that will be unveiled at the upcoming IFA. Reports say that the new phone will retain the iPhone One A9 design with some tweaks to the camera placement.

The rear camera is expected to stay at 13MP, while the front camera will be bumped up from 4 UltraPixels to 5MP. Aside from that, we really have no idea what’s going to be inside the device, which means we also don’t know just how much it will be an improvement over the original.

IFA kicks off in a few days, so if the rumors are true and the phone makes an appearance we won’t have to wait long to find out the details. Any guesses as to what the name will be? I’d prefer iPhone Clone 2 because, like a child, I enjoy rhymes.
