Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for Xbox 360 Michael Kwan November 16, 2008 We’re getting close. We’ve been waiting far too long for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and the date is almost upon us. Looking forward to next year, we’re going to get treated to Street Fighter IV as well and I couldn’t be more excited. However, playing these arcade-style fighting games at home just isn’t the same. As fun as Street Fighter may be, playing them on a conventional Xbox 360 controller is nowhere near as satisfying as popping quarters at the local arcade and playing with a real arcade controller. Looking to duplicate this experience at home is the widely-applauded Fighting Stick EX2 from Hori. Designed for the Xbox 360, it offers an arcade-like experience from the comfort of your living room. Based on the layout of the buttons, it’s pretty clear that this arcade controller is intended for use with Street Fighter-style fighting games, but there’s no reason why you can’t use the Fighting Stick EX2 with other titles, like Soul Calibur IV and the upcoming Tekken 6. I guess you could even use it with Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe if you wanted to. Anyhow, the Hori Fighting Stick EX2 for the Xbox 360 has a list price of $60, the same price as a regular Xbox 360 controller. Share This With The World!
